Engetron, the largest national manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), has brought a series of innovations to the market in the uninterruptible power sector. The New Generation of UPS from the Line Double Way Single Phase Modular (DWMM Modular)Available in 2, 3, 6, and 10 kVA power ratings, it offers lighter and more compact models with a versatile design allowing for tower or rack mounting. Furthermore, the new product features connectivity with IoT (Internet of Things) technology.

The new CPU, like other Engetron UPS lines, has increased its storage and processing capacity (going from 16 to 32 bits), adding new functionalities.

With a power factor of 1.0, the equipment offers greater reliability and high performance, as well as an active management and monitoring interface with IoT technology through the System. Engetron IoT, which can be accessed via the app.

Emphasis on IoT Technology

Engetron’s president, Aluisio de Oliveira, states: “We work with cutting-edge technology in the Internet of Things. We were pioneers in applying this technology to uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and with each new launch, we seek to improve the services we offer, applying all our expertise in the mission-critical energy sector.”

He emphasizes that “connectivity between machines and mobile devices, by providing remote access and real-time management, optimizes operational performance, improves process management, and provides greater security and agility in decision-making, among other factors.” Combining the quality of Engetron products with IoT technology makes operations more efficient, connected, and sustainable, since the equipment increases its lifespan and reduces expenses related to unscheduled interventions and replacements of more expensive parts and/or accessories, such as batteries. “We speak with authority about what we design, create, produce, deliver, and manage,” concludes the president of Engetron.
