The WBRC (Web Based Remote Control) is a network interface for local or remote management of Engetron IoT UPS units, with multiple connectivity options.
It has its own processing capability and provides data through different TCP/IP protocols, such as SNMPv1, v2, and v3, Modbus/TCP, SMTP, TELNET, HTTP/HTTPS, Bootp/DHCP, and Secure Sockets (SSL) certificate.
It features 2 RS-232 serial interfaces, 1 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface, and optional Wi-Fi or mobile network interfaces. The optional Wi-Fi interface eliminates the need for a physical Ethernet connection in the UPS environment being monitored.
The optional mobile network interface enables communication with Engetron IoT via a commercial cellular network, without the need to connect to a data network in the installation environment.
